New York Times (Letters In Response To Op-Ed) Re ?Justice? Vengeance? You Need Both,? by Thane Rosenbaum (Op-Ed, July 27): No one can deny the tragedy of the recent terrorist attack in Norway, but Mr. Rosenbaum co-opts the pain of a nation, as well as the pain of survivors of violent crime, to make an emotional argument for vengeance as a legitimate and moral driver for our justice system. This argument cannot stand.
