The Democratic Convention was a rapturous success in presenting a political party that really knows how to throw a party. With unity, enthusiasm and, of course, “joy” in abundance, it proved that a presidential candidate doesn’t have to survive an assassination attempt to inspire a pep-rally atmosphere with plenty of its own “fight!”

Summer of Antisemitism Goes Back to School

Antisemitism is headed back to school. The summer recess was well spent, with Middle East faculty militarizing their lesson plans and pro-Hamas coffers re-supplied by Qatar and Iran. Students have been practicing their anti-American, anti-Israel, antisemitic slogans. There are so many to learn nowadays, and being out-of-sync is uncool. Many took time away for intensive flag-burning weekend retreats.

Identity Crises: No Room for White Jews

Let’s revisit identity politics again, shall we? I thought the idea was that one must represent one’s identity in all things, be recognized for that identity, and respect the differences among all identifiable groups. It was especially incumbent upon marginalized minorities to participate in this progressively minded brand of politics.
